Lines, Wrinkles and Ageing
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Fine lines and wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process and are most prominent on sun-exposed areas such as the face, neck, hands and forearms. Although genetics mainly determine how badly one is affected by lines and wrinkles, sun exposure is a major contributing cause, especially for those with light-coloured skin. Other factors which can also contribute to the formation of excessive lines and wrinkles are smoking (a major culprit), certain medications, dehydration and a lack of sleep.
